Expedition Day - Vision Launch

On Tuesday 17th July, staff and students participated in a fun filled day as Lealands launched it's new vision and began climbing the mountain to success!

The morning involved an introduction to the new vision, a documentary about the Comic Relief Red Nose Day Kilimanjaro climb, quizzes and practical activities.

At 11am it was time to begin the climb! A huge water slide, mountain slide, ninja warrior course and last man standing inflatables took over the school field. There were also lots of other challenging activities such as netball, football, welly wanging, tower building, name the teddy, painting with darts and balloons, plus lots more. Students and staff were free to enjoy the afternoon taking part in any of the activities they wished.

The highlight of the afternoon had to be Headteacher, Mr Burridge and Deputy Headteacher, Mr Ward braving the water slide together.

A fantastic day was had by all whilst bringing the new vision to life. More information on our new vision, values and ethos can be found by clicking here.
