Course content

Cambridge National in Health and Social Care introduces students to the specialist knowledge and skills needed to work in various care settings. This qualification focuses on core values and communicating with individuals so as to maintain their dignity and sense of being valued. Students will also look at the development of individuals physically, intellectually,linguistically, emotionally and socially and how they can be kept safe in health and social care settings. Finally students will look at health promotion carrying out a campaign to benefit individuals in society
Units include:
Unit R032: Principles of Care in Health and Social care settings
Unit R033: Supporting individuals through life events
Unit R035: Health promotion campaign.
