Heads were turned skywards at 3pm on Monday 8 July as over 1000 green and blue balloons were released by staff and students at Lealands High School in Sundon Park, marking the start of celebrations for the completion of the £17.5m refurbishment work at the school, which took two years.

Headteacher, Mr John Burridge explained to students that the balloons represented launching our “new school” into the world and the high aspirations we have for every student.
