Southend Experience Day (18th July): information for parents/carers of students on the Berlin trip

Southend Experience Day (18th July): information for parents/carers of students on the Berlin trip

  • Students need to arrive at school between 7.30am and 7.45am. The coach will leave school at 8am.
  • Students will need to have a signed swimming consent form in order to paddle in the sea. Students need to see Miss Young on Tuesday to collect their swimming consent form and return it on Wednesday morning before the trip. If not returned, students cannot enter the sea.

  • Students cannot enter the sea if they cannot swim 50 metres or more.

  • Funfair – Adventure Island - £1.20 per token – some rides require two or more tokens – students can buy them on the day – students must look after their own tokens.

  • Wristbands can be bought on the day - £30.00 (cheaper on line) but this is the student’s responsibility to look after/buy/arrange. We don’t advise a wristband as we are not there for long enough to go on every ride.

  • Students must only take money that they are likely to need e.g. if they want to go to the amusements.

  • Students need to keep money secure at all times and take care of their money/phones etc.

  • Students will need to bring a packed lunch.

  • Please call Miss Sheridan if you have any further questions.
