Lealands' High School Objectives For 2024-2027

Objective 2024-2025

Consistencies embedded and successful implementation of the behaviour curriculum to support further improved behaviour from good towards outstanding (for all students and groups) with a focus on positive learning behaviours leading to further improvements in outcomes through actions and behaviours of staff.  Staff have the skills and tools to ‘teach’ support and manage behaviour very well.

Students know how to behave well and choose to do so including positive and proactive learning behaviours based on values and high aspirations.  They have the tools to self-manage emotions and reactions as well as their actions in ‘free time’.

Objective 2025-2026

Enhanced provision for individual needs to ensure students with more significant needs behave and learn as well as possible

Parents are effective in supporting the school’s values and aims.  They understand how to ensure their children get the best out of education and are well supported and ‘trained’ in the Lealands way.

Objective 2026-2027

To further develop adaptive teaching strategies and systems across the classroom and school in order to improve the progress and outcomes of students at all levels, ensuring teaching is responsive to individual needs through effective planning, targeted support, challenge, and effective classroom adaptations.

To further improve and embed enhanced KS3 behaviour systems and provisions through targeted staff training, student engagement initiatives and parent information and support in order to see an improvement in student conduct, reduced need for sanctions, and improved learning and achievement across all KS3 cohorts.
