The Lealands High School Class of 2026 deserve to be absolutely thrilled with their GCSE, BTEC and VCert grades!

The staff at Lealands High School are incredibly proud of our students and the results they have achieved this year.

Our Class of 2026 have worked with determination, resilience and commitment throughout their time at Lealands, and their hard work has been rewarded with some excellent achievements across a wide range of subjects and qualifications. These results will provide our students with a strong foundation for their next steps in further education, apprenticeships, employment and beyond.

Some key highlights from the Class of 2026 include:

  • 54% of students achieved at least 5 standard passes (grades 9–4), including English and mathematics.
  • 73.6 % of our students achieved a grade 4 or above in English and 66.7% achieved a grade 4 or above in maths.
  • Subjects performing exceptionally well are: English Language, French, Art, Sociology, Spanish, Hospitality and Catering, Health and Social Care and Child Development with students achieving an average grade point of 5 or above in these subjects.

Special congratulations:

Special congratulations go to students who have achieved an outstanding collection of grades across a wide range of subjects.

  • Aleesa A achieved 1 grade 9, 4 grade 8s, 1 grade 7 and 1 grade 6,including outstanding results across Science, Spanish, Geography, Enterprise and Mathematics.
  • Giulia D achieved 1 grade 9, 3 grade 8s, 2 grade 7s and a grade 6, with excellent results including Science, PE, Mathematics, History, Further Mathematics, French, English Language and English Literature.
  • Rahela D achieved an impressive 6 grade 8s and a grade 7, including strong results in Science, Spanish, Mathematics, History, English Language, English Literature and Engineering Design.
  • Holly E achieved 1 grade 9, 3 grade 8s and 2 grade 7s, including excellent results in Science, Mathematics, History, Further Mathematics, French, English Language, English Literature and Computer Science.
  • Sabreina D achieved 3 grade 8s and 3 grade 7s, with excellent performances including Science, English Literature, English Language, Sociology, Mathematics and History.
  • Aston C achieved 3 grade 8s and 3 grade 7s, including excellent results in Science, English Literature, English Language, Sociology, Mathematics and History.
  • Charlie W achieved 3 grade 8s, 3 grade 7s and a grade 6, including strong results in Enterprise, Marketing, English Literature, English Language, Computer Science, Mathematics and Geography.

We are also delighted to recognise the many other students who have made excellent progress and achieved results that reflect their hard work, determination and commitment throughout their time at Lealands.

A huge achievement for the Class of 2026

These results represent the hard work of our students, alongside the dedication of our teaching and support staff and the encouragement provided by parents and carers.

We would like to offer our huge congratulations to every member of the Class of 2026. Whether students have achieved the grades they were hoping for, exceeded their expectations or demonstrated significant personal progress, they should all be incredibly proud of what they have accomplished.

Our students can now look forward to their next steps into Sixth Forms, colleges, apprenticeships or vocational education and employment, with the qualifications and confidence to take on the opportunities ahead.

The Class of 2026 have completed their journey through Lealands  and the results reflect the effort, spirit, and ambition they have shown throughout the last five years. Watching them grow into confident, capable young adults and seeing them celebrate their results, has been a privilege and they leave us with a strong foundation for the future. On behalf of the entire school community, I want to thank them for everything they have contributed to Lealands and wish them every success in their next steps—we could not be prouder of them.
