Royal Veterinary College, STEM Trip.
A group of animal loving Year 8s visited The Royal Veterinary College, to gain an insight into university life and what it takes to become a vet or vet nurse.
They took part in a lecture about what courses are on offer and entry requirements, followed by some hands on activities. These included, learning how to take a dog's pulse, identifying animal skulls, looking at different animal's hearts and identifying animal x-rays. By the end of the afternoon, many were convinced they would like to become vets in the future. #STEM
