Since January, Luke, Leon and Josh have been working tirelessly in planning the event.  To ensure it ran smoothly, they firstly had to write a proposal and present it to the school Senior Leadership Team. 

Following a successful proposal, the team were given the opportunity to organise the event. Throughout January and February, they had to create application forms, deliver assemblies to Years 7, 8 and 9, create advertising materials, organise ticket sales, talk to staff to request their support in running the event and finally, host the competition itself. 
Twelve competitors took part in the competition. Entries included students singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, a video presentation accompanied by music and a magical magician! Leading up to the event, the team sold over 200 tickets for the show.

On the day, the competition was a roaring success with all involved loving the event.  Whilst all the acts performed with excellent talent, the outstanding performances came from Mckenzie, Jadesola, Dexter and the overall winner, Nathan. 
A big thank you goes to the audience for their support with the event, the staff who helped supervise the afternoon and finally, the competitors for their hard work and excellent performance skills.
