Temporary Housing
As from 1st September 2026 schools will now receive notifications for families that are placed in Temporary housing . This will allow us to consider and respond in the most appropriate manner.
- The impact that homelessness and temporary accommodation can have on children's attendance, wellbeing, safeguarding, physical and mental health, and educational outcomes.
- Practical actions schools may wish to take to support affected children and families, including consideration of attendance, transport, welfare, inclusion, and early help.
