We are looking to appoint an ambitious and talented Assistant Director of Humanities to work in our vibrant, high achieving and multicultural school. You will support the subject leader of a successful department with an enthusiastic team of highly committed teachers ensuring excellence, taking the lead on the Religious Studies and PSHE curriculum.

The successful applicant will be a talented, innovative practitioner with a passion for all aspects of humanities who will have a leading role in moving the department to outstanding. The Assistant Director of Humanities will plan, lead, deliver and monitor teaching and learning in the department. Specific responsibilities will depend on the individual candidate’s strengths and abilities.

Lealands High School would like to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for the Maths Department to support class teachers in all aspects of teaching and learning.  The successful candidate will enhance opportunities for students and will bring to the role knowledge and practical experience gained through working with young people.  The ability to support the learning of individuals and small groups is essential as are excellent communication skills.  A willingness to deliver whole class lessons in maths is essential.
