Welcome Year 7
It has been a fantastic morning spent welcoming our new Year 7s to the school. There were some nerves which was understandable, but the overall mood seemed to be excitement and not just from the students. The staff have really been looking forward to having students back in to Lealands.
The Year 7s have been very busy already. An introductory Loom assembly first thing, led by Headteacher, Mr Burridge, Head of Year 7, Miss Seaton and PSM for Year 7, Miss Goodrum. This was followed by some 'ice-breaker' activities and learning the expectations we have here at Lealands. They are currently taking turns to go on school tours to help learn their way around.
We are sure they will all settle in nicely and wish them every success during their Lealands journey.
