Guide to the Cashless System
Lealands High School uses a Biometric Cashless System, commonly used in many other schools, in our dining area and the snack bar in the Atrium. The system is efficient and avoids any problems caused by loss of cards.
Once your child has been admitted to the school and registered on the biometric system, you will be able to pay for school dinners, trips, events, music lessons and school ties on our online payments system*. The school prefers for all school meals to be paid for online. This gives you the flexibility to top up your child’s account at home using a debit or credit card rather than having to use cash or cheque. The cost of a school meal is £2.20** per day. To access the online payments system, click the '£' link which appears on the slideshow above, alternatively, it can be accessed directly from our school app by clicking the 'Payments' button.
If you have not used the online payments system before and require a link code, please contact the school's
Finance Office on 01582 611600 or email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
*From 30th April 2018, users of Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Vista, will no longer be able to make payments via the Tucasi Online Payments System which are processed by WorldPay. This change is being enforced by the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).
While you will still be able to access Tucasi SCO, view the content and perform tasks in the normal way, if you attempt to pay online you will receive an error message.
This is outside the schools’ control and we apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause, however, we will be unable to assist with making payments online using Windows XP & Vista following this date.
** £2.20 is the cost of a school meal when it includes the pudding of the day. Alternative puddings are available, but may be charged at a higher cost.
